Referral Rewards: Get 5% of Every Top-up Your Friends Make

Short answer: when a friend signs up with your link, you get 5% of every top-up they make (up to ¥800 in total), and they get 5% extra on their first top-up (up to ¥200). Move rewards to your balance, or contact support to cash them out.

How to invite

  1. Sign in at api.foo, open Console → Wallet, and copy your link from the "Referral rewards" card at the bottom (it looks like https://api.foo/sign-up?aff=YOUR_CODE).
  2. Share it. Adding ?aff=YOUR_CODE to any api.foo page also works — the model list, the home page, or any guide in these docs — which is handy when you write a tutorial or a post.
  3. Your friend opens the link and signs up (email, GitHub, Google or LinuxDO). That's it.

What you each get

Alipay, WeChat Pay, card and USDT top-ups all count, based on the amount actually paid in CNY. Redemption codes don't count as top-ups.

Rules

  1. Only the sign-up link counts. Clicking your link after already having an account doesn't count; if someone opened several people's links, the last one opened wins.
  2. One level only. People your friends invite don't earn you anything.
  3. Balance or cash. Move rewards to your balance yourself (from ¥1), or contact support to cash them out to Alipay or WeChat within one business day after a manual check, no minimum. Rewards already moved to your balance can't be cashed out.
  4. Refunds are reversed. If a friend's top-up is refunded, the reward for it is taken back (from future rewards if you've already moved it to your balance); if it was their first top-up, their bonus is taken back too.
  5. No abuse. Inviting your own extra accounts, mass sign-ups, spam, or posing as official api.foo promotion can lead to rewards being cancelled.
  6. Changes to these rules are announced on this page first; rewards already paid aren't affected.

Rule update (October 23, 2026): the first top-up bonus for new users now goes up to ¥200 (was ¥10), and the referrer's total limit is now ¥800 (was ¥1,000). Rewards already paid aren't affected.

When you write a tutorial or review, add ?aff=YOUR_CODE to every api.foo link in it — readers who sign up from any of them count as yours.

FAQ

How fast do rewards arrive?

Usually within a minute of your friend's payment going through. You'll see it under Wallet → Referral rewards → Available, and a "Referral reward" entry appears in your usage logs.

Can I cash out my rewards?

Yes. Contact support; after a manual check we send it to your Alipay or WeChat within one business day, with no minimum. Only rewards still under "Available" can be cashed out — anything already moved to your balance can't.

My friend signed up without my link. Can it be added later?

No. The referrer is fixed at sign-up and can't be changed afterwards, so make sure your friend opens your link before registering.

What happens after I reach ¥800?

You stop earning on further top-ups. Friends you invite still get the 5% bonus on their first top-up.

How do I know a friend used my link?

The "Invited" count in your referral card goes up by one. When they top up, a reward entry shows up in your usage logs.
